A YEARNING DESIRE
How stupid must I be
To think
you would care for me
I think somewhere inside
Your love
For me must hide
Others can see how cruel you are
But at night
I walk outside to wish upon a star
I cry myself to sleep each night
And dream
You are holding me tight
For peace awaits me there
Just you and I
Without a care
The sunshine brings
Another day
For me to agonize
My life away
It’s not stupidity
That makes me pine
It’s a yearning desire
For your love to be mine

This is the heart at a most vulnerable moment, in a state of innocence and is so
very sad and touching, what a beautiful peace
of writting this is. may you gently heal and once again over time know love.
