I remember you.
You saw me first.
All the nights laughing and joking.
All the times I cried and you held me.
We sat on my front porch.
You told me you would never leave.
You promised no matter what you would be with me.
I told you all my secrets.
You were the first to truly care.
The promises you made were bull*****.
I trusted you probably because I was young.
Big mistake on my part.
You told me to leave.
You talked behind my back.
Soon, I was a big joke.
Your for real leaving now, and I will probably never see you again.
I just want to thank you for giving me something ever girl wishes for.
Love, compassion, and passion.
But the leaving part crushed me.
You may never know.
As for now, go ruin another ***** life.
I'm good now.
But just to remind you...
Karma can be a HUGE *****.

Love is SOOO over rated! I enjoyed your poem muchly, so much emotion, but think of it this way, he lost someone who loved him and you now have the chance to find someone who loves you so much more...
