We are warriors
who are impervious to pain.
We shed our rags
of assimilation
and dance upon
the glorious stage.
We rid the mask of
assimilation and
show integrity
and feelings of joy.
We are warriors
on the canvas,
dancing colors
so vibrant and beautiful,
filling peoples eyes with
passion and their
hearts with hope.
we are the Renaissance
men and women
of our time,
creating controvesy
through simple works of art.
We are the masterpiece,
bearing our naked bodies.
bearing our souls,
showing the world
what we are made of.
We tell our stories
through our poetry,
our movements,
our art.
WE ARE THE WARRIORS.
