I gaze through a fashionable window,
at an intricate display,
a mannequin
holding a $$$ purse
wearing $$$ clothes
It begins to take shape
It looks more and more like me
then it shifts without warning
pushing me to the ground
it whispers with such dignity
"no...."
And returns to it's lifeless display

It's about time my friend, where have you been, oh, nevermind I know,
anyway your poem, hmmm
here's my interpretation, the gazer is a nonconformist or of the counter culture if you will and they gaze upon society that is trying to suck them in which, it does gracefully adding the gazer, no longer to all the other lifeless puppets that walk amongst us everyday that have to have the IT bag or clothes.
Tell me how close or far I hit the mark.
I'm still waiting for that Red Bull! |
