The same SBS film I was watching when I wrote TRAPPED inspired this poem... its silly really that a film in a language I cannot speak, inspired two poems. Anyway I dont have a sister and I dont know anyone named Chloe...
I am trapped
I can not be found
Do not give up on me
Shhh can’t make a sound
Silently I pray to you
To listen to my heart
I promise I will come for you
But for now we are apart
You can survive
I know you can
Even though I am not there
To take you by the hand
My darling sister
Do not cry
Open your eyes
Look to the sky
Soon I will come
Relax my dear Chloe
Wait for me now
Soon we shall be free
