Watching the grass grow.
From behind her window.
Glancing at the clock.
Listening to it’s faint tick tock.
Sighing for the sake of breath.
There’s no emotion left.
Careless tendencies they embrace.
Apathy dances across her face.
Wishing for a greater feel.
Than the hunger for her next meal.
Humming a dead beat tune.
The sunset turning into the moon.
Another brief moment in time.
Wasted at the hand of apathy’s divine.
Wanting more than just to live.
Living life with a greater motive.
Another moment passes by.
And still she wonders why.
Apathy’s all they sense.
This feelings too intense..

Nice poem. It's the situation of someone's apathy. Described well. How we feel time passing, thinking nothing is so good, etc.
I like it. |

Oh this is so sad, life is so sweet, to be so devoid of that is pitiful. I found this poem so thought provoking. Sue x |
