Anchor Part 1

The moon shines but it can't be seen,
for the clouds block it's beauty.
The darkness closes in for the kill,
but the Light keeps it suppressed.
Time stands still for one moment,
and the past is remembered.
The anchor has begun it's descent
into the waters of the deep
and his world begins to stop.
What is this great child doing wrong?
Can he overcome his demons to embrace his passions?
Will his love triumph or be defeated?
questions roam thru his head
as the ship comes to a stop
swaying gently in the darkness of the night.
the violent waves crash into the sides of his dreams
his passions stop, his love is hidden and worried.
Does he have the strength to once again fight the oceans of life?
Does he love her enough to do just that?
To at least give it one more try?
48 hours to find out... and the questions roam yet once again
Will he pull his anchor up or continue to sway in the night?

| i had to read it 3 times b4 i felt like i got all the meaning in it. very deep, and sad. i can tell it is a question in your heart. |
