My world suddenly shattered
Beaten and battered
when I heard you were gone
I wanted to scream
Hoped it was a dream
when I heard you were gone
Banished to an eternal night
without your guiding light
when I heard you were gone
Just know that you have my love
and I know you guard me from above
so you aren't really gone at all.
