Have you ever tried
to touch a dream?
A cotton cloud?
A quiet stream?

Have you ever tried
To walk with God?
And in his ways,
Have you often trod?

Have you ever tried
To kiss the sky?
Or tried to join
The angels high?

Have you ever tried
To do this thing:
To sing just as
A bird would sing?

And if, in fact,
These things you've tried,
And done them all
Before you've died...

Then you shall always
Be content,
Knowing you lived
A life well spent.

Lovely. You certainly have put this in the right category... it is indeed inspirational. Honestly, I think we (people in general) often settle for so much less than is possible. This life can be extraordinary... and it absolutely behooves us to be extraordinary in it.
