DARKENED

Contributed by Davinah on Friday, 2nd June 2006 @ 02:04:37 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Why do I hold on to my dark side
When the light could help me heal
The anguish and the emptiness
That stole away my dreams.

Do I really want to be like this
Helpless but not yet lost
Trembling with an inner-fear
The knowing is what scares me the most

To remain trapped inside this state of worthlessness
Of desolate nights and the weirdest thoughts
My mind remains twisted, angered
Making my soul to pay the cost

I reside somewhere
In between good and evil
Neither black nor white
But eternally grey
Until the blessing I’m hopelessly longing for
Will finally come to wash away this pain

This poem expresses a great deal of sadness and pain; it saddens me to know that you have such pain. Even though I have felt pain myself in the past year I hope that one day it too will subside as time passes by. May God watch over you and protect you.

very dark and dreary..painful~
..rather, I'd like to be either "good" or "evil"..
..to be caught somewhere on the out-skirts of limbo, damned eternally with no purpose.. can't imagine that-
