The One

Contributed by lonely_boy on Thursday, 1st June 2006 @ 01:04:15 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

torn by the one
who i thought would care
rocking back and forth
crying in my chair
i thought you were different
from all those other girls
but it seems i was wrong again
because you've destroyed my world
these tears aren't helping me
in removing your image from my mind
so i decide to fix that problem
by cutting my wrists with this knife
i've cut so deep
that there's a steady stream
i wanted us to always be
why'd you have to leave
i'm losing blood fast
and i pass out on the floor
but before i go
i'd like to see you once more
i thought you were the one for me
and i see that i was wrong
now that i'm dying
i'm glad that you're gone
