Stand upon the edge.
See the shimmering Light of Inquietude.
Feel it touch your skin.
Feel it work its way inside.
Grasping your every thought.
Strangling you from the inside out.
What do you do?
How are you going to stop this?
This infection.
It’s growing.
Feeding off you.
You must feel it.
Changing you.
Turning you.
Are you afraid?
Afraid of what you may ask.
Dig to the center and you may find what you seek…

Like the idea, and the way you keep the audience in question. Nice poem. |
