One quick bite lasting an eternity,
While juices streak down my arm
As a spring trickles down the mountainside
Bees tickle my arm, enjoying the sweet river.
The black watermelon seeds
Cling to my face
As a fly is snared in a spider’s web
The tiny beetles speckle my face.
The sweet taste tingles my lips
As a feather would tickle my feet;
But alas I must depart from my summer dream
For it would seem I have finished my crimson treat.
