Sitting in the rain
Contemplating twists of Cain
Blue skies above grey
It’s just another day
Cigarettes burn in the ashtray
As I remember Avalon bay
Quiet thoughts slip through the mind
And beautiful vistas with rains that bind
Afternoons lost wandering the hills
Nights deepening and sunsets off movie reels
It’s all just a journey through life
Eventually to find deaths kind knife

The rain will tell you many things, I'm glad you were able to write its message down. Great piece.
Take care.
