I’m writing this because you don’t believe how much you mean to me.
I wish I could take away all your pain
But the thing is I can’t
Words are just words until they are given meaning
And I’m just your friend yearning to be more.
I probably make your life even more complicated than it already is.
I don’t know how to comfort you because it seems that we are in the same position
Because you want to be with her and can’t
And I want to be with you
And I can’t
When I said that I need you in my life
It’s the truth
Wait on second thought
You are my life.
So don’t tell me that I don’t need you.
Its like telling me not to breathe.
And knowing me I would probably hold my breath until I died.
That I can do, but what I can’t do is stop loving you.
I wish I could take away your tears just by holding you close
But that won’t work
And it’s not like you tell me what I can do because you keep to yourself.
You don’t have to.
Just
Let
Go
