The door to my heart was never open… you kicked it in.
You beat upon the doors until the frame splintered and cracked and it gave way.
You knew that the love inside wouldn’t be strong enough to fight, let alone win.
Once in there, inside the crushed red velvet folds you sealed the doorway, locked.
No one else would ever break through,
My heart couldn’t beat if it didn’t have you.
Don’t say that because of absence I love you less,
The years endear you more to me.
Don’t say that I am too easily impressed,
When I look at you, you’re not what the others see.
I wonder if what I see is real, and that everyone else seems to see a lie.
I wonder if I’m not still in love, then how can you make me cry?
I think in pictures, I feel in words, and it’s so hard to relate the two.
To make my mouth say the words my head is seeing, is something almost impossible to do.
But with you it doesn’t matter, my heart can see your name,
And, to tell a secret, my mind is your photograph’s frame.

Very deep. That is hard when you can't let go of someone you love. letting go is truely the hardest part. You'll get through.

Something touched inside
Inside a place not so far
every day an inside realm
our kingdom of piece lost in laughter
we just carry on
even though we lost our run
no comment can make it rite
