The man that I once knew,
He took away my smiles
When he said, we are through
I keep seeing his face
In those morning suns,
How can I forget
Before my next day comes
Time; please erase my mind
Take away this pain,
So all those tears that fall
Will look like pleasant rain
When I awake each day
I feel him in my heart,
Then with that lighted moon
Dreams again, they start
He swears he did not love me

I heard him say them more than once

It is never easy to lose...
...someone we hold dearly in our heart...
...nobody said it was...
But sometimes...
...you just have to let go...
...even though holding on...
...feels painfully better...
I know how you feel...
