what is life?

i want to live
dont want to die before i try
i want to have a world of my own
dont want to reside in silence
because i am sick and tired of being no one

here i say goodbye to my past
this is my new start
i wont look back
i want to get out of my broken life
while i still have the courage to stand up and fight

there's nothing here for me
everyone has forgot how to love
everything is growing colder and older
cant find a reason to stay
but i have every reason to move forward

why wait
i hear the ocean calling
why hide
when my heart is burning
higher and brighter
this is my life

so here's my call to you all
the broken and lost and hurt
so we all want something to believe in
and where can be a better place to find it than the hope within
remember that day you smiled - maybe it was your only day
but hold on to your hopes and get out of the darkness that's pulling you down
make something you can call your own
this is your life

are you who you wanna be?
