The tender limbs of time dance to a mocking beat
As the sonnet of bravery relents to defeat
Loves gentle bonnet flies on tainted wings
As the flying soul of strong longing weeps
The words I love you turn a bleeding heart to stone
And fires to dying ashes
Blooming flower blushing with the kiss of rain
Then drooping with morbid acidic pain
Bleeding souls take turn on the ferris wheel of no feeling
As bitter cutters stare at a the blank world of the ceiling
Butterfly wings blemished with pale weeping tears
Morbid untold stories filled with undescribable fears
Stakes of bitter dreams that gleam in the world of seething
For disappointments have won over the fates unveiling
Tender touches that turn a smile to a frown
Bleeding awareness that start from the foot to the crown
Rivers crashing against a bloody sea shore
Words spilling from a mouth that cant take anymore
Trembling emotions caught in the captivity of a mouth
Whimpering thunder dancing on the flute of ignorance
Perfect intentions burned out by the sting of insistence
Nurtured on the breast of evils grin
It had learned to dance the waltz of forbidence
It sucked from the bottle of sin
Ah life the cutting edge to all reason
The jagged notes in a once was perfect song
The son of temptation
Born from the mother of all wrongs

was it written when you were in a sudden rush of inspiration or was it carefully planned?
but either way it's a great poem |
