My Dad had a computer,
he said that it had broke,
He explained he needed a new mouse,
to finish off his work.
I could not believe it,
A mouse, I thought, A Mouse,
Surely these things lived outdoors,
Not here inside the house.
And where would it attatch to,
And what would it's job be,
Surely not to eat cheese and squeek,
I tell you, it's baffled me.
And so I sat there thinking,
about this PC Mouse,
When the door flew open,
and my mum came in the house,
Seeing me sat there thinking,
She asked me what was up,
I told her Dad needs a new mouse,
But I'd rather have a pup,
Mum just smiled and laughed at me,
her face was full of joy,
She then kissed me on the head
and said you silly boy.
Its not that kind of Mouse she said,
Just you wait and see,
I'm sure your dad will show you it,
After you've had your tea
So now my dad has his new mouse,
it's really not fantastic,
it doesn't squeek or eat cheese,
it's just plain and white and plastic.
