Take my hand, let me lead,
Touch my soul , feel my need,
Hold me close,Let me show,
How the passion inside me flows,
Caress and tease me, make me smile.
Lose ourselves in the reverie for a while,
Kiss my lips, with warmth and desire,
Bring out the passion like a fire,
Take my body,just for one night,
It may be wrong, but feels so right,.
A brief encounter, or a romantic tryst,
Or is it something we cannot resist.
When its over , and tomorrow is here,
We won't have regrets, just memories dear,
One final kiss, and no tears will we cry,.
And it will be Adieu and not goodbye.

I liked it, and engaging write, with a really neat rhyme scheme, and beat to it. Well done on a good write.

Dang! My wife'd kill me but I might just swim that ocean 'n' "buddy up" with m' British buddy. LOL It's that long swim that keeps me safe from temptation. Very good write, Sue.

I'd have to say love poems are my favorite kind of poems to read and you have written about a very nice dream...er, um, wish....anyway, have written a very lovely love poem.
