With your high class stare
And blonde bleached hair
Red lips with cigarette
Designer stiletto heels
You think you are perfection
You’re in love with your reflection
The god’s gift to this world
You think you are everything everyone wants
In your world no one can compete
You have yet to met one you could not defeat
The top of the food chain
You cannot be touched
Men fall in lust with you
'Oh' you laugh 'of course they do'
But love is something else
Something you have yet to hold
You would give up everything
To be the one he falls in love with
But your not that type
You’re a high-class girl

Perfection has its pitfalls. It also sometimes creates a barrier, you become untouchable. Who could compete with that. Enjoyed your poem very much, Makes you think, is vanity worth it. :-) Sue |
