One night vulnerable thrill

I saw you standing clear as day

You looked at me from far away

I never thought I was good enough

For you to embrace me in your arms

I never thought before that night

That I was worthy of your sight

For days I’d watched you

And once I smiled

You didn’t smile back

You looked in to my eyes

Then that night

Oh what a night

You touched me

And you smelled so good

You kissed me hard

As if you knew you could

I never knew it felt so sweet

To be in someone’s arms

Then you just left

And never came back

I saw you talking to them

But you never talked to me again

That was it, you were done

You hurt me so bad

But I won’t admit it

If you hadn’t left me feeling so good

I wouldn’t remember you now

I wouldn’t hurt myself for you now

I wouldn’t be so disturbed now

I wouldn’t hurt now

I’d move on now

I could be touched by another now

But now I just hurt

And I know you’ve forgotten

That one night

You laugh at me

Well, please laugh away

While I hurt myself

I hope you’ll know when I’ll drown in this

That is was your fault

I’ll never forgive you

But you’ll never apologize

I know you don’t care.

That’s it, I’m done.
