Notice Me

Contributed by ellimac on Sunday, 28th May 2006 @ 01:24:14 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Get to close me I swear I don’t bite
That is unless you want me to.
What are you looking for?
The rough aggressive one
Or
The sweet cautioned one
Because the second is me.
When I’m with you I’m tempted every time we’re alone
Even just for a second.
That’s all I need for our lips to meet.
Do you notice when I touch you ever so gently?
Because I’m scared that the fire between us might burn me.
I look deep into your eyes
Can’t you see the difference between how I look at you and how I look at others?
Can’t you hear from the sound of my voice?
Can’t you tell from my slow movements around you?
Or that slow smile that creeps across my face when our eyes meet?
Baby you’re a tease and I think you’re loving every second of it
I told myself, “Two could play that game.”
But then again I’m still a rookie and you’re a veteran.
Do you know how I smile to myself when you do something cute
And do you know how you have your very own ring tone
So I know exactly when your calling.
All I want is you in my arms
And me in your heart
Because you’re already in mine.
