Guilt

Contributed by lillyjane on Sunday, 28th May 2006 @ 07:34:51 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Why when some one makes me cry.
feel that I just want to die,
when theres problems with my kids,
feel its something that I did,

When the house work is not done,
think I dont deserve no fun,
why am I so full of guilt,
feel my soul begin to wilt

Do all women feel like this,
feel they dont deserve a kiss,
I have now devised a plan,
in my next life, i'll be a man..

I have decided to take an unguilty stand this year, and you know what it is so liberating. No wonder men on average don't age as fast as women. ha ha Lovely thoughts, and very true, guilt is in all of us. Thanks I really think we think in the same way. Sue xx

Yes lillyjane, we do all feel like this! I think we all should try and relax and realise that we are not responsible for everything that happens in the world. Our kids would never want us to feel guilty for anything... and it doesn't hurt a man to do the tidying up sometimes! My other half started helping with the washing up on Mothers Day and guess what... he's started to feel guilty if he doesn't help now! Thanks for a great write.
