For Those Who Fight an Unseen Battle

far off in the distance angels lying in wait
crys of the dead left alone decreed by fate

outward the emblem of light too far to reach
hear the men with no face and the gospels they preach

we are the forgotten the warriors never seen
the unmistakeable force in the void between

rising and fighting for battles which are everlasting
standing up for right and justice for all we kneel to no king

we are the answers to your prayer ready at a call
beat back and ridiculed but never will we fall

shining tears in an ever glistening world so bright
fighting for honor but never able to stand in the light

cry no more for we are here
stand up little child and have no fear

some of us are blind to the battle yet unseen in air
this is for all the soldiers who give a damn to care

I really liked the line about shining tears.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time.
