BECAUSE OF THAT DRINK

because of that drink
there's only one thing we can think
you didn't care
you weren't really there

because of that drink
and so many more
you couldn't think
and you kept going back to the store

to buy more alcohol
till you got drunk
and you kept throwing up
throwing away your life

cause you didn't care
you couldn't feel
your body was numb
no sadness no pain
just anger

see what you did
to the people who really cared
you hurt them
and you hurt yourself

because of that drink
now you're dead
you should have listened
to what i had said

because you are gone
you are dead
you are never coming back
not because of what i said.
