The battle of my mind throws me
Into a state of so desolate and
Few..
But yet, the battle have been fought
Scars have been sacked and stored
Away in a thin brown paper bag,
The elements of the mind know
Longer feel the joy of laughter
Just bitterness that stimulated
Through all the battles fought..
My heart bleed from pain that
Twisted my very soul
Bearing any blame from the
Meanness I endured..
The road I travel now is rough
And lonely..
Know rainbow of colors streak
The sky with beauty
Nor light to brighten each day
Only black clouds filled with
The scars of the battles
Placing my heart in such a
Delicate state,
I hesitate to nurture and
Welcome love embrace
To many battles have stolen
My very essence of life
Left me weary, sad and lonely
In darkness I sit..
Waiting on a bright light to
To show me the way..
