Of death and bones and scattered ashes,
Of half heard voices and memory flashes,
Of limbs lost and stories told,
Of stone and oil, diamonds and gold.
Of televisions, newspaper stands,
Of lovers shouting, then holding hands,
Of dreams achieved and ideas gone,
Of everything, and then of none.
Of death, birth, love and war,
Of tethers stretched, can give no more.
