I could count the nights
That I have staid awake
Just thinking about you
In my bed
With my eyes wide open
Staring at the roof

Missing you next to me
Missing the way you are with me
How you smell
How you breathe

I could count the mornings
I didn’t want to wake up
Not because I felt bad
But because
I was dreaming about you
Dreaming that I was with you
Holding you tightly

I miss talking to you, listening to you
I miss the way you use to say
You loved me
How you smiled when I said
I love you

I have so many memories of you
All the times you were there for me
And the times you let me be there for you
I remember the times you kept me from
Hurting my self
Also the times I did the same for you

And I want all of that back
I will always want that
But only with you

I will always want to hold you tightly
And will always hold you down
When you feel like cutting or hurting your self
Or doing anything else
I will try to stop you even if you
End up hurting me

I care about you more than I care about my self
And I will always love you
