MUSIC IN MY TULIP BED

MUSIC IN MY TULIP BED?

The Wyoming sky is blue, of this I'm sure........
My last birdie critter has been fed,
Was it a lark? I stopped to listen.....
of the rest, I'm unsure?
Is that Music I hear coming from my
Tulip bed?
Before I look let me take an inventory of me first........
Did I have any Bailey's Crème this morn?
or maybe something worse?
Suppose the beer I drank yesterday is
still being disbursed?
As I get older and close to ancient, my ears
just ain't the same.........
I know, I'll bet it's my neighbor I can blame...........
You better go look you 'old silly goose,' at
your age if you don't look right away,
you're going to forget!!!
I crept to the edge of my lot and peeked
over the fence, 'tis a tulip quartet!

A long legged frog conducting turnabout tulips
dancing with their backup in the early morning dew!
Daffodils can sing harmony, and daisies do too,
but your ears absorb dandy delight when you hear
a tearful tulip.
A terrific tulip trio continued to entertain me
as I drank my third mint julep!
Hiccup!
Created just for fun

ROFLMAO! bailys and coffee a woman after my own heart . Kahula does well too.

I sure do love this delightful poem COnni, I can see your garden of dancing tulips and birds.

What does it mean when your tomato's are talking to you? Maybe to much bailys in the coffee? I swear they were saying something to me this morning, lol

Connie, I'd forgotten just how light hearted and refreshing poetry can be. Thank you for reminding me my friend.

Very well done

A delightful, witty poem. A little wine is good for the stomach, you know. Enjoyed this very much. The illustrations were great.
