Unscrew the cap and tilt it up,
Why the **** would I need a cup?
Peering through the hole of blissful thinking,
Why can I not stop drinking?
My throat is numb and my world is spinning,
I could be dying, but why the hell am I grinning?
This evil liver of mine will soon be eaten away,
Mr. Daniels, why do you do this without delay?
Jack, you are my lone friend of one,
Is it possible that without you I have none?
So as I conclude this poem my last request will be dire,
Can you promise not to forget me for soon i will expire?

Heartfelt and sad. Good rhyme. Here's to wishing you all the best that life has to offer.
And to happy days ahead.

Great poem. Keep writing. But try to cheer up
I told my children that each year at school or anything new is like starting all over. You start at the bottom and work you way up. It's not easy but you learn as you go If you are going to 9th grade next year I will tell you like I told my kids you start at the bottom, you will be "freshmeat" it's yes to any upper classman and just get through the year. If you make it through you are on your way. Then you get to pass down next year to the new freshmeat. My son will be a junior next year and his frashman year was tough but he surrvived and he loved his sophmore year.
Try not to drink and keep writing. Can you tell I am a MOM.
