black horses trumpet on your moon
their manes sail in your gliding whispers
where smiles once spilled
over into the burnt
edges
love has left the toiled holes of this crater
sunken in, trudged on mounds
of broken castles that we had built
together
devastated
sand up to our knees
as we dig ourselves to our deaths
our memories will be our last embrace

very Good imagination by the poet.
“love has left the toiled holes of this crater
sunken in, trudged on mounds
of broken castles that we had built
together”
Good chose of words.
