My Grandpa and His Santa Suit

A long time ago,
When I was still a young boy,
My grandpa would dress in a Santa suit,
and visit my family with toys.
Everytime he came,
it was such a great surprise,
with his big red coat,
and big black boots.
This meant so much to me,
even though I found out who it was,
but I never told a soul,
because it probably meant a lot to them.
I wish these days were still here,
but I think God that at least he is,
because without him,
I wouldn't of ever talked to Santa Claus.

The good times always remain the greatest of memories, the colors vibrant, painted by your words. |

Dear D-Day, This is wonderful, that you would put this story of your family history into verse.
I hope your descendants have the wisdom to appreciate what you are giving to them as well as the honor you are bestowing on your grandfather. Please try to do more of these about your family. Love, Great-grandma Bizzy |
