Should've Known

Contributed by The_Young_Poet on Thursday, 25th May 2006 @ 09:30:28 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I laid myself on my bed, spreading my arms
I kept dwelling on the past
Struggling to a get a grasp
On something that went terribly fast
Right past me with no notice

I tried to keep my eyes tearless
I tried to be so fearless
But all I got was more fears:
To lose you

So I watched as my heart was swelling with pain
As the distance between us grew
I should’ve of knew
That maybe…you were too good for me
I didn’t deserve you
After all that pain I put you through
I didn’t deserve you to be my boo

For me to more true was way overdue
I should’ve appreciated you more
I should’ve been grateful for your pure love
Your pure, kind heart

Now you have a girl
As you slowly twirled
Her hair around your finger
As she deserved you
And wouldn’t put you through the pain I made you go through

So for now
I admire from afar
As you treat other girls with respect
As they do the same to you
I’m still loving you

This shows a lot of feelings of hurt and dismay. Heartfelt words. Sue x
