The Girl
The girl is invisible;
Someone that no one can see.
She hides locked away in her room,
Waiting to be set free.
A tear in her eye,
And a razor to her wrist.
This girl hates life,
And has a death wish.
She cries and screams,
And hit’s the wall.
Blood and tears ,
Begin to fall.
Who is this girl,
That no one can see?
The worst thing is,
This girl is me.

i'd have to disagree with the previous comments (though i haven't read emily dickenson). i'm sure there is pain, but this poem just doesn't express it well enough. rather unoriginal.
