"Oh my son,
my dear sweet son,
where hast thou been,
for such many a night."
"I have been out mother,
out and around the town.
Now sleep mother,
sleep your deep, deep slumber."
"Oh my son,
my dear sweet son,
what hast thou done,
for such many a night."
"I have been searching mother,
searching for the monster.
Now sleep mother,
sleep you deep, deep slumber."
"Oh my son,
my dear sweet son,
why hast thou been searching,
for such many a night."
"For revenge mother,
revenge on those who caused this pain.
Now sleep mother,
sleep your deep, deep slumber."

very nice poem. Mysterious but nice. Very well written and I think many people search for those that have caused them personal pain yet they never talk about it

My sincere appologies D-day,
I looked at the wrong name and called you fancyface. Once again I'm sorry.
