Verse 1
Just only today I had seen your face
Inside you seemed distraught & out of place
I know that sometimes you feel very lost
And with everything you need there is a cost

Chorus 1
I've had my days where theres so much pain
It never leaves cause of its permanent stain
There were times when I always looked towards you
But inside my mind I never thought of what'd you do

Verse 2
With all the things that we always talked
As we spoke of the things we faught
Neath the dark cold skies where they can't hear your cries
As they pull you down into the ground

Chorus 2
I've had my days where theres so much pain
It never leaves cause of its permanent stain
There were times when I always looked towards you
Although there were those happy times. they seemed so few

Verse 3
Outside you looked but inside you feel so depressed
You feel so lost nothings going right, no place for you to rest
You don't know whether you should go
As your head believes all you've said

Chorus 3
I've had my days where theres so much pain
It never leaves cause of its permanent stain
Out of all the times that I had looked through you
Inside I never saw of what'd you do

Verse 4
So for one last time you looked out at the world
Your tongue can't speak, afraid of any words
With all your tries, still your mind defies
You couldn't stand to cry, so you said goodbye

Chorus 4
I've had my days where theres so much pain
It never leaves cause of its permanent stain
There were times when I had to almost cry
Because inside I could never say goodbye
