UNLOCK YOUR HEART

Contributed by MarLites on Wednesday, 24th May 2006 @ 08:24:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

UNLOCK YOUR HEART

I waited for you today
My heart longing for you to come

But

With each passing minute
My mind echoed the
Knowledge that you had
Chosen to stay away

Still I waited

Wishing

With a force so strong as to
Crush all the noises of
The outside world

Darkness fell
And all my hopes of being with you
Were drowned under a
Heavy curtain of tears

Maybe

Another time I will wait again

Praying

Your heart will open the
Window that is locked
Keeping my love on the outside

Then you will come to me

In my experience, I see her in front
of me so well that I can see her
even with my eyes closed. Sadly, she
refused to see me...

This is a very good poem.
Keep writing! I'll keep reading.

I really like this poem but there is an underlying irony about not seeing what is right in front of you,

Den
