Sitting here,
Staring at the clock.
Waiting as time slowly drips away.
Noises and distractions are everywhere,
But they are being blocked out of my head,
By one simple thing,
And without this thing I would be dead.
It is great and pleasing.
The person it is about is even better.
She is nice, funny, and beautiful,
And I truly love her.
She doesn’t love me back,
But that is ok, because being good friends,
Is better than nothing.
We help each other when we talk.
If you are thinking what I am thinking,
It is totally true.
I am thinking about you.

A really sweet write to an obvious limited audience. I'll betcha if ya have this all printed out in a nice "friendship" card and ya give it to her during your next "friendly" encounter, things might get a little "friendlier". Specially if ya have a rose or carnation kinda tied to the card.
Really good job. Betcha it't work.
