CLIMBING THE MOUNTAIN OF LIFE

Contributed by Adelle on Wednesday, 24th May 2006 @ 12:09:16 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

climbing the mountain
with every breath I hold on
with the vision of every crack and stone
that i can grab on
with these hands so strong,
flexible and long
I climb this mountain
with every bit of breath through my lungs
a long journey I am taking
on a mountain not pre-prepared for me
so I am hooking my own hooks
finding my own nooks
climbing this mountain to reach the top
determined, I will not stop
the higher I climb
the harder it gets to breath in rhythm of time
losing my focus and my ability
to see the vision and strength within me
to keep reaching higher
to keep persevering longer
so breathing deeper
as I climb into the thinner air
I keep going nothing is going to stop me here
not after I have come so far
I am climbing the mountain of who I will be
the mountain that will define me
each muscle and body part
is used to its purpose and art
to create a definition of beauty and character
artistically creating the image of me better
becoming more finite in my creation
of the me I was made to become
by defining strength and tone
to the very bit of my bones
giving me every ability
to succeed in what ever I want to be
short are the length of my legs
creating harder work for smoothness and grace
but I continue stretching them higher
as I work them more and more
building muscle and strength
flexibility and length
my back ripped as it is stretched
as the core of my stumach supports it for strength
the definition of me on the outside
defines me on the inside
a pure and solid heart
with a dedicated and focused mind
becoming the mold and art of life
through much toil and strife
obstacles I continue to face
as I study them with much focus and grace
as I find a solution to overcome
defining a new definition
of a body built for soul and character
as I become stronger and wiser
in my choices and understandings
to the ways of life’s climbing’s
for I am climbing this so called mountain of life
creating strength in the deepest meaning of “light”

The Mountain of Life is right.

Still, I found it hard to keep up, I'm sorry!

I climbed hard but I still had a break or two. Have you had any breaks at all?

I'm sorry if you didn't that would explain why it's bunched together.

Good luck!

Joanna

In my last post I said that I found it hard to keep up. I'm sorry because the more I read it, the more I understood. This is true to life and in all actuality sometimes life is hard to keep up with.

I LOVE THIS POEM!

GREAT WRITE!

Joanna
