Stanzas

Contributed by Man_On_High on Tuesday, 23rd May 2006 @ 11:50:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Serene.. I fold my hands and wait-
with no care for wind or sea
and rave no more against my fate;
For Lo! My love shall come to me.

I stay my need and make delays..
For what avails your eager pace?
while I stand 'mid eternal ways
and know my love will know my face.

Asleep, awake, by night or day,
the love I seek is seeking me..
no wind can drive my own astray
nor change the tide of destiny.

'What matter' if I stand alone;
I wait with joy for the coming years-
..my heart shall reap where it has sown
and offers up its fruit of tears.

The waters know their own and draw
the sea that spans on yonder sight;
So ebbs the time with equal law:
..our souls as one in pure delight

The stars come nightly to the sky,
the frothy waves upon the sea..
no time or space nor length of time
can keep my love away from thee.

my oh my, you have touched my heart like no man has. I am so humbled and honoured to have you write this for me.

"As many stars that twinkle
Throughout the heavens above
You will be a bright reminder
Of what it means to Love"

My modern day Poe, you will always have a special place in my heart. You are the missing piece of happiness and love that belongs in my heart. I've found you at last. Thank you so much ~*Billy*~
All my love to you sweet guy from across the blue,
~*suzie Q*~

Ravishing stanzas1!

Of course love cannot be kept away neither by stars, planets or frosty waves. nor time nor space.
because it is beyond it and moves the entire universe. and keeps it in existence..

Fortunate the lady for whom these breathtaking stanzes are writtern.

Blessings
Elizabeth
