Can't we get along?

I know you are all talking about me,
I'm not yet sure what all you say,
I do know its not very kindly,
But I still go on with my day,

To think we are family,
Thats what hurts me more,
I still have my dignity,
when you walk in my door,

Knowing you say these things,
yet you all have something to hide,
Who knows what the future brings,
Yet I will still keep my pride,

I never did anything to you,
as I sit here rethinking in my mind,
I'm just trying to get through,
On the stuff I seek to find,

What did I do that was so bad,
To make you all hate me,
Moving in & taking care of dad,
To me thats just crazy,

No one comes around at all,
Ever since mom died,
No one even bothers to call,
You just seemed to have lied,

Why cant things be like they were,
we were a close family,
those memories are more a blur,
I want things like they use to be!

So I inherite the house, big deal,
I Dont want all of this,
All I want is our family to heal,
Those other things I wont miss,

Ever since moms been gone,
Things have really changed,
Cant we all just get along,
You all are acting strange,

How can you say stuff, and look me in the eyes,
don't always believe what you hear,
I hope one day you will all realize,
I am not your biggest fear,

I love you,but hate what you do,
how you treat me & my family,
I never asked for any of this, its true,
So why do you keep hating me?

Mom sees all in Heaven above,
Shes rolling in her grave,
She always wanted us to love,
So lets just try to behave!

I can totaly relate to this one!
The one thing that made it all worth while was hearing my father say one day before he passed on, "I want to thank you for helping me. If I didn't have you I'd have no body.
Not that I even wanted the truth but see when we stand for truth we automatically loss the votes.
Don't take it personal, see we know real life and have more understanding of luv to the end.....which luv never ends so there ya go!
It runs it's cycle and then you too old to get along....
Sorry, I'm just rattling on, Great write as it's part of the healing process!
peace, joy, luv,
emy
