The knight, returning home
To find his queen waiting for him on her throne
Rushing once more, to her side
He drops to one knee, to ask her, once more, to be his bride
With tears flowing like water falls, on his cheeks
Prepared to reap the rewards of the kingdom, he weeps
He was weary, from holding all his emotions back
But, once she told him what she felt, higher, he could no longer stack
As once more, that song of two souls uniteing
A true indivisable love fills the midnight air, so relaxing
The knight has returned home, to take his place once more
Beside his queen, in the throne room, on the moonlit palace floor.
