Progression
~
Every sunrise brings new changes,
A revolving door of rearranges.
Nothing ever stays the same,
Progression is the name of the game.
~
Time doesn’t stop or stand in place,
There are always new moments ahead to face.
To try to live in the past,
Is a future that just won’t last.
~
I struggle to keep up with this pace,
And the hustle and bustle of the human race.
I tend to savor what is already gone,
I replay it over like a classic song.
~
Yet in the end I have no choice,
I’m just a participant with no voice.
So I must get back in line,
And catch the train of moving time.
~
