I woke at night
And what do you think I should see?
A Jaffa cake with a bear’s face
Coming to consume me.
I backed away
In terror of being eaten.
A Jaffa cake with a bear’s face
For fear it can’t be beaten.
I screamed a bit.
Admit it, you’d at least do that.
A Jaffa cake with a bear’s face.
Shivering, scared I sat.
I hid myself
As best I could behind my pillow,
A Jaffa cake with a bear’s face,
Weeping like a willow.
I turned on my lamp.
It was time to act like a man.
A Jaffa cake with a bear’s face
Was really just my fan.
