Our Pledge Of Love

Our path is set, together we are one,
Forged in our heart and in our mind it is done.
Lord consecrate our love and make clear its' vision,
May wisdom prevail and act on decision.
Santify our spirit and fortify our soul,
Humble our heart as our lives unfold.
Let sacrifice become our constant desire,
Love is the way, what more is required?
Our love and our lives we have pledged forever,
To remain Man and Wife, this day we do endeavor.
Side by side, hand in hand, forever be our course,
To resolve any difference or unimaginable force.
We have taken our vow, a promise to keep,
Adversity will follow, we bare all that we reap.
A foundation will form, blessed from above,
Each dawn of a new day begins Our Pledge Of Love.

"For this reason a Man will leave his Father and Mother and will stick to his Wife, and the two will become one flesh.
So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has yoked together let no man put apart."
