Life is ever-changing
You play out the hands you are dealt
Only to find another deck
Hands lost, hands gained.
Your queen ran off with the joker-
Your king raises the stakes
So you hold on to anything you can
Try to find salvation,
Something to fall in your favor.
But fate deals the hands
Our mortal souls become puppets-
Play the part-
Try to bluff
Maybe they'll believe,
Maybe you'll be right.
Just don't fold yet-
We have another deck to explore....
