The kisser

Topic: MiscPoems

He traveled the world looking for her
He knew that one kiss will make her his wife

He first took flight to Havana
The changes of life can be so demanding
War was there but still he searched
Until he saw her cleaning a shirt
She glanced his way but did not smile
He approached her face and made his way
Her eyes closed shut and with one embrace
This was not her he must go

The late night took him now to Rome
The buildings so structured
The lights adored
He walked through the courts as the evening flew
Dancing and talking is what he knew
She glided with ease
She lifted her shoe
He approached her face and made his way through
Her eyes closed shut and with one embrace
This was not her he must go

As he marched along the road
He found a small town in China’s gold
The effort of the big wall did not stop him no chance at all
The workers heard of a strange man in search
The swordsman who fights his way back home
She rose up from the field and he knew he could chance it
He approached her face and made his way
Her eyes closed shut and with one embrace
This was not her he must go

The waters were still on this gentle boat
Across the seas now to Puerto Rico
The green mountains that fill the island
Now hope of marriage is calmly minded
He reaches the rain forest so lovely to see
He hears the frog who sings the perfect melody
She is there in the river sitting so still
A statue so graceful his goddess to be
He approached her face and made his way
Their eyes met and with one embrace
They kissed without any mistake

really nice poem. Kissing someone from every different country sounds like something fun to do. I agree completely with your theme. One kiss can determine where a relationship will go and if that person is the one.
