Starving Soul

Contributed by blueheart on Thursday, 6th February 2003 @ 08:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

All alone,
So afraid,
Silence thickens,
Heart is dead.
Happiness fading,
Moving out free,
Sadness flowing,
Drowning me.
People around,
Mean nothing,
Everything grieving,
Soul is starving.
Undesired for,
Totally unwanted,
No care no more,
Can't find comfort.

When will it change?
When things get better ?
Or are still the same?
One day will I find
A person who cares,
Will it be too late?
Will I still be there?

Be Strong you will get through this bout. Depression is a horrible thing that a lot of people do not understand. It comes on gradually and you can feel it coming but it cant be stopped. You need someone to talk to and to care about you other than those that already do as you do not want to upset them and in a way you feel ashamed. This is the feeling I get when I read this poem. Keep your chin up, you know it'll be o.k

Learn to care for others. When you care for others, you care for yourself.

Awww, this is so sad. I have been there many times Hanna. Give yourself a chance for your heart to heal. Things will get better. *S* Cynthia
